Michael Cossitt serves as a Marketing Director and Closing Agent for Phenix Title Services, working out of their South Portland location.  He has worked with banks and mortgage companies as a Loan Officer and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.  Michael has leveraged his knowledge of the lending industry to provide insight and professionalism in the closing room to both first time home buyers and experienced real estate investors.

Michael is a member of the Maine Association of Mortgage Professionals, Mortgage Action Alliance, and the Greater Portland Board of Realtors.  He also works with AVESTA Housing to present information to first time home buyers through their Home Buyers Education classes.

Michael retired from the Coast Guard after 20 years of service and has a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
