2024 MAR President Paul McKee invites you to join MAR for a Member Forum, “MAR Legal Forms Changes: Flood Risk Disclosure and NAR Proposed Litigation Settlement”. 

Paul will be joined by MAR Legal Counsel Hannah McMullen and MAR Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Guild. Effective August 9, 2024, Maine law will require flood risk disclosure as it relates to the sale of Maine real estate (residential, commercial, and land). 

Effective August 17, 2024, new practice changes will go into effect to comply with the NAR proposed litigation settlement in the matter of Sitzer-Burnett vs. NAR et al. MAR will be releasing new legal forms around July 31 in anticipation of these deadlines. After the overview presentation, MAR will take as many questions as they can during the hour.
